SPIRITUALITY
PRAXIS is not an
individualistic activity but rather encompasses political, social,
ecological and interpersonal concerns “with” others. This approach
reflects both our founding theology and our current understanding of
informed practice within our organisational
context and each of the Four
Aspects.
Society is organised to exclude but at Holton Lee we are organised to include. Whoever and why ever they come, at Holton Lee people will be received, accepted as they are and respected for who they are and thus can find rest, refreshment, renewal and re-creation here. They can also find stimulation, challenge, opportunities to learn, with the time and resources which can enable them to return home better equipped to engage with their everyday lives. Holton Lee is “for people not profit … we don’t provide a product to consume but invite guests to take part in our own lives and join our community.”
