Volunteers

As a charity we rely on volunteers to enable us to meet our aims in the fullest possible way and work towards realising the potential of Holton Lee.

There are three main areas of work in which volunteers can be involved:

1) working in the gardens or on conservation tasks under the direction of the Countryside Estate Worker.

2) administrative work in the main or residential office such as typing and photocopying.

3) working with guests –

this might mean accompanying guests around the site, with IT skills, or in support work to the residential services.

Although regular help is particularly valuable, there are other opportunities, for example; Open Days when help may be needed with cream teas and barbeques. Additionally, we are keen to resource volunteers who wish to undertake some fund-raising activity.

If you are interested in volunteering with Holton Lee,  please contact the office on 01202-625562

and arrange to talk to a member of staff in the department where you would like to be involved.
