FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

The Barn extension

  After commissioning Stephen Taylor Architects for this development, planning permission is now being negotiated with Purbeck District Council. The extension will provide kitchen and dining facilities and the internal refurbishment will result in ten double size en-suite guest rooms. This will widen the choice of room and extend the availability of dates to many more guests and reduce the wait list. The work will be carried out in three phases with phase one being the extension. 
  Fundraising has now become a main priority for this project and funds to date stand at just under £200,000 following a recent very generous grant from the Rank Foundation. To complete Phase one we will need to raise in the region of £450,000.
