Body Talk by Artsreach
Body Talk is part of the Artsreach Self Centered project in which four community groups have worked with our 'artist in residence' Tom Weld, to explore the concept of Self(a symbiotic relationship between body and mind). The Self is defined internally, by us as individuals and externally, in relation to others.
The following artists took part: Catherine Batten, Lucy Brown, Jenni Dutton, Anne Finlay, Tony Heaton, Lynn Hutton, Marion Kuit, Susan MacArthur, Fiona Morley, Kate Sully, Judy Tinsley, and Tom Weld. The exhibited work included prints and photographs, painted and stitched textiles, conceptual clothing, reconstructed textiles, jewellery, mixed media and installations.
